Current Work
Printmaking - Recently, my work is focussed on exploring the art neaveau landscape melding modern iconography with surreal elements. I am toiling on a body of work of very large lino block prints, all of which feature strong women and octopi. I am also looking forward to participating in 2011's Synthesis project this March
Sculpture - I am working on a medallion that is an homage to farmers and gardeners everywhere. I am also continuing my exploration of semi non-objective studies of movement in immovable materials, predominantly soapstone and bronze.
Painting - Currently, I am working on several very large paintings in which I am to attempting to capture certain moments in time. For example, I have a 4 x3 canvas on which I am exploring a moment where a walk in the forest changes from self-reflection to self-preservation with the snap of a twig.
